How do you confidently put your business in the customers hands?
Recently, a retail energy company came to Pariveda with a pressing need on its hands. More and more of its customers wanted to be able to manage aspects of their accounts digitally, but the company's team didn't have the means to create such an application themselves. The team needed to provide not only a high-quality user experience, but also a fully native application that would function flawlessly on all devices — a challenge, to say the least. The client saw this as the perfect opportunity to generate a new competitive advantage for the company in the highly deregulated retail energy market, and Pariveda was more than happy to get to work solving this ambiguous problem.
Give the customer the experience they want
Pariveda spent a huge amount of time working directly with the client's team in an effort to learn as much about the users they were trying to serve as possible. The team made a list of all the functions that mattered the most to users and got to work on two applications — one that would offer a native experience on Android devices and one focused on Apple's iOS ecosystem (and devices like the iPhone and iPad). Pariveda also leveraged the initial iOS code in an effort to accelerate Android development.
Sleek application creates high customer satisfaction
At the end of the project, Pariveda was able to provide a fully functional mobile app for account management to customers on both Android and iOS devices. The application not only provided a sleek and sophisticated new user interface, but also advanced customer capabilities to manage things like billings, scheduled payments and to view personal energy usage statistics. Both the client — and their own customers — could not have been more satisfied with the results.
