How vital is your mobile app for your patients?
An industry-leading healthcare company realized they needed to provide patient advocacy services through a sophisticated mobile application that worked on as many different types of devices as possible. Studies showed that mobile users in particular were increasingly active in terms of researching and tracking their health and the client wanted to be able to support these trends. At the same time, such an application would not only help them increase user activation and the usage of client services, but it would also enable them to provide context-aware solutions to their patients' own healthcare problems.
Leverage Microsoft Xamarin to craft a robust mobile health app
Being no strangers to the mobile space ourselves, the passionate team at Pariveda quickly got to work. After sitting down with the client to learn as much about their own users as possible, Pariveda got to work on delivering an iOS and Android mobile application that leveraged Xamarin for code reuse while creating completely native apps at the same time. Not only did this make it easier and more cost-effective to support both platforms, but the fact that each app had its own native UI provided a clean user experience when accessing key services provided by the client — all in near real-time.
Patient self-monitoring app acquires new clients
After the solution was fully designed, tested and released, it was an almost instant success with the client's own patients. In fact, it directly contributed to the acquisition of various new clients and ensured the continuation of others — all because patients were now able to track their health their way, any way, no exceptions.
The app also not only helped to increase the client's own operational efficiency, but it put them in an excellent position to scale up to meet the demands of their customers without needing to always acquire additional resources — something that had been a major pain point in the past.
