What do you do when you know you need to change, and change fast?
Recently, a client came to us in something of a tricky situation. They knew that they needed to be an innovator and a first mover in retail energy, but to say that this space is highly competitive is something of an understatement.
To make matters worse, their own infrastructure was showing signs of aging — their website was not enabled for mobile devices, for example, but their own internal research showed that over 30 percent of all visitors to their site were currently utilizing mobile devices. Because the vast majority of all online interactions begin with a search engine — which means that a website is typically the first point-of-contact between a client and the audience they're trying to serve — this was all incredibly important. They needed to make drastic moves and they needed them now.
Create robust online presence for mobile and web
After working with the client to learn as much about their audience as possible, we were able to deliver a mobile website that provided a consistent, seamless and high-quality online presence across multiple browsers and operating systems. Geolocation functionality was also employed to enable everything from the collection of contact information to featured usage calculators, a new content management system (CMS) and more.

After our project was completed, the client was able to better position themselves as a first mover with the competitive advantage they needed to enable online enrollment for all serviced markets and account management features, no exceptions. The client's new website provides a rich, satisfying user experience with graphics and visual indicators, all while enabling the client to rapidly modify mobile website content in the way they need to stay agile and moving forward for the next few years and beyond.
