Bill Cornell



Mr. Bill Cornell is known for creatively solving complex problems spanning technology, product and business domains. Bill’s work experience includes clients from technology, aerospace, retail, manufacturing, cybersecurity, healthcare and data capture industries. His engineering knowledge coupled with his business leadership experience enables Bill to lead diverse teams to deliver outstanding value at clients ranging from multinationals to startups.


Bill combines significant engineering experience with more than a decade of strategic consulting focused on delivering compelling products to both external and internal customers.

He started his engineering career at Lockheed developing communications and image processing technology for satellite systems, including a brief stint as an actual "rocket scientist". Bill moved to Seattle to work at Honeywell on airborne radar where he developed signal processing hardware and software algorithms to detect weather related threats. He then moved to RAF Technology focused on image recognition, intelligent information extraction, and enterprise solutions for identity verification and security. Throughout his engineering work Bill has applied artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to solve business challenges, including neural nets, genetic algorithms, image segmentation, and pattern classifiers.

Bill transitioned from engineering into product management and business leadership, spending a decade providing strategic consulting to help clients generate competitive advantage. He demonstrated success as a trusted advisor for clients in product management, marketing and product launch, strategy development and execution, and system and process design. Before joining Pariveda Solutions, Bill was an executive at a cybersecurity startup leading market and product strategy and helped launch their first two US products and acquire early customers.

Outside of the Office

When away from the office, Bill loves to spend time with his wife and two kids (12-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter) looking for new adventures. Bill enjoys everything soccer, including rooting for the Seattle Sounders and Arsenal, as well as playing in recreational leagues. His hobbies include cooking new dishes from different cuisines, playing volleyball with his wife, hiking and camping with his son in Boy Scouts, and laughing during Daddy-Daughter events and weekends.

Education and Service

Bill was part of a 3/2 program for his undergraduate education, receiving a B.A. in Management from Claremont McKenna College and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. While working at Lockheed he attended the University of Pennsylvania and received his Master’s in Electrical Engineering specializing in Signal Processing. Bill volunteers time with the Boy Scouts and at his kid's school, as well as supporting the Sidney and Log Cabin Museums in Port Orchard, WA.
