Managing Vice President


As Managing Vice President for Product, John works to ensure Pariveda advances differentiating Perspectives for our consultants, clients, and community. He leads the effort to design, develop, share, and advance thought leadership for our consulting practice.


John has over 26 years of experience helping clients to envision, design and deliver complex business-critical applications at scale, spanning digital transformation, custom application development, legacy application modernization, cloud transformation, mobile development and digital marketing. He has extensive experience in the fields of Healthcare, Energy, and Hospitality and High Tech. Prior to joining Pariveda, John spent the last 15 years with Avanade, a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture, where he served in a variety of roles including North America Practice Lead for Application Development and Client Engagement Lead for various strategic accounts. Previously he also served as Lead Solution Architect for G. A. Sullivan which was acquired by Avanade. John started his career as an application engineer with R&M Biometrics a leading provider of image analysis solutions for bioscience research.

Outside of the Office

Outside of work, John spends as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors either hiking, fishing, mountain biking, golfing, skiing, camping, or surfing. John is an avid world traveler, classical violinist, and amateur gamer.

Education and Service

John received a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. His lifelong love of the outdoors has made him passionate about the environment and supports multiple causes to ensure a sustainable planet. In addition, he co-established the John Pickett & Stefanie Hill Scholarship at Washington University dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goal of high education.
