Vice President

Mr. Joey Shih brings over 13 years of experience developing custom solutions with a primary focus on enterprise Java and open source technologies, helping businesses apply technology to connect with customers across web and mobile devices. He has led the solution architecture across multiple large scale software solutions, providing technical oversight and guidance for team members and also working closely with management teams to align technology and business value.

During his time in the automotive, aerospace & defense, and financial services industries, Mr. Shih has helped to deliver solutions for a broad number of diverse business efforts. His experience includes building consumer portals, mobile apps, and developing complex custom solutions, but overall he enjoys the challenge of finding ways to leverage new technologies to improve customer and user experience. Mr. Shih’s familiarity with multiple integrated enterprise solutions not only provides him with experience across a broad array of platforms and technologies but an understanding for how to bring them all together to achieve business objectives and goals.

Prior to Pariveda, he worked in the management team at Hitachi Consulting while also bringing with him experience from his time at Citigroup and other small technology firms.

Outside of the Office

Joey enjoys his down time just spending time with his new wife Pritha and their one spoiled child (aka. a black labrador retriever named Bailey). He also loves to travel and explore other cities and counties, experiencing the day to day life and culture around the world. Joey’s other hobbies include managing his fantasy sports teams and playing any number of card games, however, he does try to make it outdoors for the occasional game of hoops, tennis, and snowboarding trips.

Education and Service

Mr. Shih received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiological Sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles and his Masters in Computer Science from California State University, Long Beach. Over the years, Joey has spent his time volunteering with Habit for Humanity and the Ronald McDonalds House.
