Mr. Stephen Duffy has a breadth of experience across business strategy, process design and re-engineering, go-to-market strategy and operations, M&A, human performance, and technology platform enablement of critical business capabilities. He has advised senior executives in the Fortune 500, as well as worked closely with the Founders and Boards of Directors of early stage companies in both a consulting and acting C-Suite Executive capacity. His experience spans the Oil & Gas, High Technology, Healthcare, Retail Energy, Consumer Electronics, and Professional Services industries. Stephen brings a blend of consulting know-how, industry and domain expertise, and hands-on operational experience to his clients to help them frame and address even the most complex of challenges.
With more than 26 years of consulting experience, Stephen has a broad array of experience helping clients assess options and chart a course to address strategic priorities. Project work has spanned the strategy, process, technology, and people dimensions of change, either singularly as focused efforts or together as part of large-scale transformation or post-merger integration. Over the course of his career, Stephen has been an instrumental leader and visionary behind the creation of high value in the form of a $1B professional services joint venture now generating in excess of $2B in revenue per year, a $1B plus worldwide human performance and training services outsourcing service, and the spin out of two different businesses from two different Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Mr. Duffy was a Founder and Managing Director of Thrive Partners, a boutique consultancy focused on driving startups to cash flow positive through business planning, management team construction, operations, and sales and marketing. Whilst with Thrive Partners, Stephen also assumed acting C-Suite roles at several client companies, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy, Marketing and Sales Officer. Prior to that, Stephen was a Managing Director in the High Technology Strategy Practice at Accenture.
When Stephen is not working, he loves to spend time with his wife Nancy and his two children, Justin and Alyssa. Stephen also enjoys travel, scuba diving, bicycling, and visiting the Texas Hill Country.
Stephen graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Industrial Management, as well as from U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business with an MBA. He is a member of the Theta Xi Fraternity and is a Patron Member of the MIT Enterprise Forum in Houston.
