Overview

Sara has a background in corporate operational leadership roles, partnering with different domains within the business and IT to develop and deliver operational efficiencies using technology. She is particularly skilled in designing operational solutions combining people, process, and technology to accomplish business objectives, streamline operations, and scalability. Sara’s experience spans both domestic and international leadership roles, crossing numerous business domains, providing her a unique perspective on driving transformational value across the organization.

Experience

Sara most recently served as the VP of Operations for a Cloud and Managed Services organization where she transformed the division into a robust hosted solution for clients worldwide. She was responsible for overseeing the global operations across all companywide facilities, ensuring peak performance levels in client services, technical, project management, auditing, and regulatory compliance. This was accomplished through the transformation of her team into a cohesive unit, focused on results and incremental success. At the end of her tenure, the organization held 100% retention on accounts, technology platforms were refreshed across three data centers, and overall operational expenses dropped as services were automated and shifted to a more blended support model.

Prior, Sara served in various senior leadership roles for a network reseller. She was responsible for creating, launching and expanding the organization's first maintenance and hardware replacement program. This included setting up three call centers to support global customers, developing client service and project managers, as well as technical support staff. In addition, to engineering the operational flows of the support staff, Sara was responsible for building out strategic partnerships globally to support 4-hour hardware replacement. The development of the new line of business, increased the organization's overall net worth and was a key element to three major transactions.

Outside of the office

Outside of the office, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and her extended family that have all transplanted from California to the Dallas area to be together. On weekends, she enjoys watersports, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Education and Service

Sara received an MBA from University of Texas, Dallas and a Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Over the years, Sara has been very active in continuous education and holds numerous certifications in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Six Sigma and is constantly studying new disciplines. In addition, she is active in her community spending her time on programs focused on ensuring children in the community who depend on school-provided meals do not go hungry during school breaks.
