Overview
Charles Knight joined Pariveda Solutions in 2006 and has 10+ years of experience in the IT consulting industry assisting customers with technology solution delivery, process improvement, enterprise architecture, and AI/ML solutions across a variety of industries. Charles is a generalist, having delivered technology solutions ranging from custom web applications, native iOS mobile applications, and Single Page Applications to business intelligence, reporting solutions, cloud data center transformations, and machine learning solutions. Internally, he is passionate about supporting Pariveda’s mission to develop talent to their highest potential and enjoys mentoring, coaching, and teaching Fins.
Experience
Mr. Knight’s experience spans the energy, real estate, administrative services, e-commerce, and commodities industries. Throughout his career, he has led the planning, design, and development of large custom development initiatives, and has effectively tailored agile software development principles and practices to assist enterprise customers in creating and rolling out Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) guidance. Charles also has experience in maturing Enterprise Architecture functions to improve business agility and in leading large-scale application rationalization initiatives. In addition, he has helped companies navigate their on-premise to cloud journey with AWS and is currently leading Pariveda’s AI/ML special interest group.
Outside the office
Charles is a biohacker and since 2010 has been on a journey to improve himself through experimenting with food, meditation, yoga, biofeedback, exercise, and journaling. In addition, he loves reading a variety of non-fiction books and listens to 25 podcasts a week. Above all else, he gets the most enjoyment from spending quality time with his two amazing young daughters.
Education and service
Charles received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin. Since 2008, Charles has served as a Big Brother through the BBBS of North Texas program. In addition, Charles volunteers as a meditation peer facilitator who teaches young adults how to meditate on a weekly basis.
