Mr. Scott Hajer is responsible for building and driving Pariveda’s experienced hire recruiting strategy and for managing the national recruiting team. His primary focus is on a continuing transformation of the organization toward a relationship-driven approach. He functions in the marketplace as a pro-bono career coach and advisor.
Scott has nearly 20 years of strategic and tactical recruiting experience, primarily for technology consulting firms. He began his recruiting career building and managing a college recruiting program for a $5 Million consultancy. His success there led to his firm moving from an “also ran” to a winning competitor against Fortune 500 recruiting powerhouses. After that he functioned as an experienced-hire recruiter for a Microsoft Partner consulting firm. At Pariveda he has built a world class recruiting team geared toward developing mutually-beneficial relationships with the very best talent in the marketplace.
His early career included service in the US Army, where he served as a nuclear, biological and chemical warfare specialist and earned honors as the AMCCOM Soldier of the Year. That was followed by several years in OSHA compliance and technical writing.
Outside the office Scott enjoys spending time with his Halloween-obsessed wife and two children who make him laugh constantly. He is an avid reader and an unabashed watcher of reality TV. He pursues his interest in technology, which began in childhood when he learned the Basic programming language in order to automate dice rolling for role playing games. Scott can occasionally be found wandering in the mountains of Colorado or the deserts of Arizona, where he retreats to disconnect from the modern world.
Mr. Hajer has an Associate’s degree in Chemistry and earned a BA in English Language and Literature from The University of Chicago. If you ask him why he chose the major he’ll say “It was my native language so I thought ‘how hard can it be?’” Scott is a board member of STAGE, in support of talented and gifted education.
