With over 15 years of consulting, solution delivery, and IT strategy experience, Mr. Sean Kampas has an accomplished record of innovation and leadership over a wide breadth of technologies. He has served customers in retail, consumer goods and services, healthcare, energy, and insurance. He is most known for developing and leading highly effective teams and a passionate focus for delivering results. This focus, coupled with his experience leading research and development on emerging technologies, has led Sean recently to further explore cultures between an IT organization and its customers in the respective lines of business, particularly as they apply to adopting those technologies.
Sean’s hands-on experience managing, architecting and delivering business solutions includes multi-channel application development, IT strategy, cloud service management, collaboration and portals, enterprise integration, software selection, business process improvement, and data center automation. He has led teams of varying sizes from very small to very large, multi-national programs.
Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Sean was a cloud strategist and director of research and development for Accenture’s ‘Agile IT’ initiative. During that time, he also contributed to Accenture’s annual technology vision.
Sean was recently recognized for a patent on a novel method and system which provides for integrating multi-vendor cloud computing operations and architecture through orchestration to create a vendor and platform agnostic cloud computing framework. This approach aggregates core cloud computing functions including service provisioning, automating, and data and usage monitoring across integrated services, thereby improving a data center’s ability to execute operations quickly, under standardized protocols and with consistent quality of service. He has additional patents pending relating to the effective management of innovation through large-scale collaboration.
Sean tests the patience of his wife, Taryn, by continuously tinkering with home automation and other technology-related life hacks. He has also been known to have extensive debates on the qualities and attributes of Disney princesses with his young daughter, Reagan. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, he is an avid Bears and Blackhawks fan.
Sean received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bradley University.
