Mr. Kevin Moormann has a breadth of experience in the implementation of custom IT solutions across a wide range of industries. Kevin’s work experience includes clients from engineering, procurement, and construction services, retail energy, oil & gas, agriculture, travel services, logistics, and aerospace industries. He has deep technical experience and ability to lead teams that deliver value via cloud-based solutions, mobile, custom application development, systems integration, business intelligence, analytics, and DevOps.
With more than 8 years of consulting and 4 years of industry experience Kevin has extensive knowledge in project management, technology solutions development, strategic process improvements, and complex systems integration. He has delivered a wide variety of projects such as a multitenant safety and project controls mobile and web platform for an engineering, procurement, and construction services company, implementing a cost management BI solution for a midstream partnership, a targeted advertising solution for a retail energy provider, modernization of a series of scientific analysis tools for an agricultural research company, and a mobile health, safety, and environmental compliance application for a manufacturing company.
Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Mr. Moormann held positions at Boeing - NASA Systems for the Space Shuttle program.
Outside of work, Kevin spends time with his wife and three children. They enjoy swimming and traveling to exotic locales like Nebraska to visit family. In down time when not consumed with building Lego sets or engaged in American Girl playdates Kevin relaxes by reading, watching sports and playing basketball.
Kevin earned his Master's in electrical engineering from the University of Houston preceded by a bachelor’s in computer engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
He is active within the Type 1 Diabetes community, volunteering with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and American Diabetes Association as well as contributing to several open source projects in that arena.
