Overview

Russell is a part of Pariveda’s National Strategy practice. His focus is on accelerating revenue growth through operational and digital transformation. Russell has a strong background in building businesses that can scale quickly through either organic growth or Merger & Acquisition activity. He has more than 30 years of experience in Corporate Development, Operations, and Information Technology. His work crosses many industries including Telecommunications, Technology, Financial Services and Healthcare.

He has experience helping organizations structure M&A capabilities including deal sourcing, business case development, due diligence and post-deal integration. Russell has delivered integration programs to companies ranging from mid-market manufacturing firms to Fortune 500 organizations located in the United States, South America and Europe.

Russell is co-author of After the Merger, The Authoritative Guide to Integration Success published by McGraw-Hill and Inside the Minds – Technology Trends, an Aspatore Book. His articles have appeared in the Daily Deal, The Dallas Morning News and Deal Magazine.

Experience

Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Russell served as Vice President, Information Systems at Sage Telecom where he executed a 14 state rollout of consumer phone and data services that grew revenues 10X in under 5 years. He was CIO of Matrix Business Technologies where he managed the technology due diligence and integration of multiple acquisitions and he delivered transformation projects for Accenture and Deloitte Consulting earlier in his career.

Outside of the office

Russell enjoys spending his free time with his wife and four sons. He likes to write and has published both non-fiction and fiction stories. He has a love of the outdoors and is always looking for an opportunity to climb indoors or on rock.

Education and Service

Russell is active in the Boy Scouts of America and regularly leads programs in hiking, rock climbing and wilderness first aid. He has an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a MBA in Finance from New York University.
