Mr. Ryan McFarland has over 20 years of technology consulting experience with specific expertise in strategy, product management and large technology implementations. He has served clients in a wide range of industries including leadership of large digital transformations for Financial Services, Professional Services and Utility clients. Everything Ryan does fundamentally comes down to trust. Some techniques he uses to build trust include highlighting success, being transparent in discussing problems or shortcomings and most of all building relationships and capabilities. The focus is on realizing client vision and achieving authentic transformation.
Ryan’s experience in facilitating product vision that supports strategic organizational objectives has helped ensure successful delivery for both large-scale program initiatives as well as smaller client projects. He has a significant amount of Business Agility and IT delivery experience ranging from setting up Product Management teams to leading custom development projects. Prior to joining Pariveda, Ryan was with Neudesic as a Sr. Director of Program Leadership. He was a founding member of Neudesic’s Client Engagement Team focused on ensuring quality delivery across Neudesic’s entire portfolio. In 2014 he won the Neudesic MVP award which "Recognizes the one employee who consistently demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to our core values - through exceptional individual performance, dedication and leadership throughout the year in the area of Customer Engagement and Project Delivery."
Ryan enjoys spending time with his 3 children. He has been known to run the occasional 10K race and is an avid baseball and football fan.
Ryan received his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University and his M.B.A. from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He has studied in Barcelona Spain at the Escola Superior d'Administracio i Direccio d'Empreses (ESADE). Ryan is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified by the Scrum Alliance as a Product Owner and Scrum Master. He is a veteran of the US Army. Ryan is also involved with the SEED Foundation dedicated to supporting the Niles Township District for Special Education.
