Each Habitat for Humanity ReStore in the Chicagoland region is operated independently by its affiliate. Since each stores operations are independent, shoppers at multiple ReStores would have differing experiences from one store to the next. Chicagoland Habitat partnered with Pariveda to help devise a solution that could bring more uniformity to the ReStores and improve their customer’s experiences.Through the app, users have the ability to see store details, browse for items, request a pickup of a donation, and add a volunteer request to give their time at their local ReStore. Users can also subscribe to notifications for events, sales, new items, donation needs, and volunteer opportunities for different ReStores in their region.
