Overview
As the Director of Talent Development, Ms. Dipprey’s primary focus is to develop the very best IT talent for the benefit of Pariveda clients. Lori oversees all internal and external learning activities as well as manages all aspects of recruiting for Pariveda. Prior to pursuing her passion for talent development and recruiting, Lori spent over ten years in the IT industry with over nine years in management and technology consulting.
As an IT professional she specialized in leading effective teams delivering custom solutions with Microsoft technologies. She also helped clients streamline processes so their teams can effectively deliver the best product or service possible. Lori was the co-founder of the Dallas .NET User Group and has taught classes such as “Introduction to .NET”, “Project Management and the Unified Modeling Language” as well as several leadership classes. She is very active in the Dallas community through the Dallas Junior League and her board position for Genesis Women’s Shelter Shareholders Alliance.
Experience
Ms. Lori Dipprey has over 10 years of management and technology consulting experience spanning the real estate, energy, transportation, software, retail and health care industries. She has assisted clients in planning, designing and implementing technology solutions to support their strategic vision and tactical needs. At the same time, she assists her clients with utilizing Microsoft technologies to redefine their business processes to increase efficiency and maximize workload. Her emphasis is on managing large scale projects and delivering enterprise solutions.
Ms. Dipprey has taught courses in development methodologies, .NET development and computer continuing education. She has lead several leadership programs and served as a career coach. She has presented at the University of Texas on “Project Management and the Unified Modeling Language” and the Dallas .NET User Group on various .NET topics.
Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Ms. Dipprey held leadership positions at RealVue Simulation Technologies, Hitachi Consulting and Tactica Technology Group. While at Tactica Technology Group, Lori was an early leader in the internal adoption of .NET and co-founded the Dallas .NET Users Group. Prior to becoming an IT consultant, she was a Systems Developer at Southwest Airlines serving in-flight and flight operations.
Out of the Office
Lori enjoys the outdoors, whether it is hiking, fishing, camping or just relaxing. She also enjoys music and loves to take in a good concert outside at the Belmont Hotel. Lori married Ged Dipprey in Oahu, Hawaii in 2006 and they welcomed into the world their first child, Gavin in August 2008.
Education and Service
Lori received a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin. She served on the 2005-2006 Ballet Austin Board, is a member of the Junior League of Dallas, participates in the T. Boone Pickens Leadership Institute Advanced Track and currently serves on Genesis Women's Shelter Shareholders Alliance Board.
