As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pariveda Solutions, Inc., Bruce has contributed to the success of the company through his keen insight and industry knowledge. Bruce is sought out by leaders in the community for both his deep technical expertise and business acumen and he actively serves on the Boards of Directors of several companies and industry leading organizations. His passion for developing talent is evident in Pariveda’s training curriculum, proprietary cohort scale and review process, and our rigorous recruiting process. This insight is the reason that Pariveda is able to differentiate itself through the speed with which we develop both technical and business leaders.
Experience
Mr. Bruce Ballengee has 27 years of experience in operations and technology working with business and IT organizations to be more effective through improvements to their strategies, organizations, people, processes and technology. His primary area of expertise is operational effectiveness and enterprise architecture for service companies and IT organizations. He has published and spoken at symposia on several technical and enterprise architecture subjects. Mr. Ballengee has taught courses in enterprise architecture and project risk management.
Bruce has extensive experience in the telecommunications, energy and software industries, along with high-tech manufacturing and financial services. Mr. Ballengee has served in leadership capacities at Booz Allen Hamilton, Accenture, Sprint and Hitachi Consulting over the last twenty years. He founded Dolphin International in 1995 and merged with Tactica Technology Group in 1998 where he served as the head of its Denver and Dallas consulting operations. He served in various roles at Hitachi Consulting including Executive Vice President of Service Delivery where he led a major strategic focus and restructuring initiative that boosted gross margins fifty percent; as well as Chief Financial Officer, where he helped the firm achieve consistent profitability before co-founding Pariveda Solutions.
Out of the Office
Bruce enjoys reading, walking and hiking. He is also an avid saltwater fisherman and dabbles as an amateur naturalist observing landlocked Dallas’ flora and fauna.
Education and Service
Mr. Ballengee received a B.B.A. in Finance and Economics from Baylor University in 1979. He also received an M.B.A. with a specialization in Finance from the University of Chicago in 1981. Mr. Ballengee serves on the boards of Koios Works, a PC-based game developer; Noofangle Media, a web content provider for traditional broadcast media service providers; and 2GO Software, a wireless software as a service provider. He chairs the Texas Council of the American Electronics Association and sits on its national board. He also serves on the advisory boards of Fellowship Technologies, a software as a service provider of church management software; the Aidmatrix Foundation, a national disaster relief coordination system and Baylor University’s Communications Department.
