Mina’s approach to helping firms solve complex business problems has led to strong and trustworthy relationships with key clients in the hedge fund and financial services industry.
Experience
With a strong focus in financial services, Mina has worked closely with many hedge funds and investment firms across the US over the last ten years to provide strategic improvements in trading and back office processes, including custom built trade order management systems, risk analytic programs, and P&L and portfolio reporting systems for a range of diverse strategies and investments in today's marketplace.
Mina built her technical foundation with over ten years of using the Microsoft development platform, including .NET, SQL Server and related technologies, to produce long-lasting and scalable solutions for clients. This is also combined with exposure and integration with several core financial service software products, including Bloomberg and Advent products, prime broker systems and other third party data and pricing systems used by investment firms.
Prior to joining Pariveda, Mina was the Vice President at Softagon Corporation in New York, a financial software and services consulting firm. She also spent five years at Standard & Poor’s in London where she developed global business solutions using Oracle and the Microsoft development platform. While at S&P she created and deployed a new architectural platform designed to streamline data management and configuration across Europe and the US.
Out of the Office
Mina enjoys traveling near and far, having spent several months travelling through Europe, North-East Africa, the Middle East and India.
Education and Service
Mina received a Bachelors degree in Computing in Business from Brunel University in London (named for Isambard Brunel, one of England's greatest 19th century engineers). While travelling in Africa, she spent time volunteering at an NGO in Western Kenya supporting educational and empowerment programs for women and children, and has participated in fund-raising campaigns in Kenya and Nepal to raise money for local grass root organizations.
