Overview

Michael is a sought out expert on custom development, portal frameworks, and workflow technologies. Using Pariveda’s Agility Framework, Michael has led several teams at Pariveda to build custom solutions for our clients. Michael enjoys working with clients across a range of industries. He has become known for his ability to do a deep dive into the inner workings and particular business requirements of a company, while rapidly ramping up to understand the landscape and challenges of that business’s industry.

Experience

Michael has over 15 years of management and technology consulting experience. He has designed, developed, and implemented custom technology solutions in the retail, telecommunications, energy, insurance, financial services, real estate, and health care industries.

These custom implementations leveraged a variety of tools, including Microsoft’s .NET platform, the SharePoint framework, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB, and K2 BlackPearl. Michael is a leader in Pariveda’s Custom Development and Portal Frameworks practices. He has extensive knowledge in solution design and architecture, system integration, and enterprise planning for portals (including site hierarchies, governance models, evaluation of third party tools, backup and recovery planning, etc.). Lending these skills to Pariveda’s own needs, Michael led the team that rebuilt Pariveda’s public website within the SharePoint framework.

Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Michael held management positions at John Hancock Insurance and Financial Services and American Management Systems (now CGI-AMS).

Out of the Office

Michael enjoys running and has completed five marathons: Paris, Boston (twice), New York, and Dallas. He plays ice hockey and takes long rides on his road bike. Michael is also a geographic adventurer: he grew up in Connecticut, went to school in Upstate NY (with a semester in France), lived and worked in DC , Boston and Dallas (five years in each city) and currently resides in Chicago.

Education and Service

Michael volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters, has raised money for various charities for several of his marathons, and rides annually in the MS 150. Michael holds a B.A. from Colgate University.
