Mr. Sean McCall brings a wealth of Business Intelligence and decision support experience to our Management Team. Through high attention to detail and a best practices approach, Mr. McCall is consistently able to deliver quantifiable business value by improving the reliability, efficiency, and standardization of corporate data.
Experience
Mr. Sean McCall is a results-driven Business Intelligence professional with over 16 years experience designing and building robust decision support systems and custom analytic solutions using database and spreadsheet technologies. Mr. McCall has served customers within industries including consumer packaged goods, oil well services and equipment, retail energy, transportation, insurance, healthcare, retail, mining, sports, not-for-profit, scientific research, software and information technology. Mr. McCall is a highly-motivated technology consultant and project manager with a proven record for customer satisfaction. He is a well-respected and forward-thinking Professional Services leader, with a team sports background, who can inspire groups to greatness. Sean is a Microsoft Certified Professional in SQL Server, has presented at Microsoft SQL Server conferences, and has previously developed and delivered a consulting workshop focused on mentoring young consultants.
Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Mr. McCall was a Vice President for LiveLogic LLC, where he led the consulting and delivery organization for Business Intelligence projects. Prior to LiveLogic, he worked as an independent consultant and as a senior technology consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
Out of the Office
Sean is a world class Ultimate* player who is often found on the field training, teaching, and playing. Sean has captained his team to win five World Beach Ultimate Cup titles and has been selected to several prominent Ultimate all-star events. Sean is a distinguished athlete and former letterwinner from LSU. Sean also enjoys independent music, analyzing sports data, building fantasy football software applications, LSU Tiger athletics, and traveling the world with his family of four.
*A game of Ultimate is played by two seven-player squads with a high-tech plastic disc on a field similar to football. The object of the game is to score by catching a pass in the opponent’s end zone. See usaultimate.org for more information.
Education and Service
In 2002 Sean co-founded the Houston Ultimate Community (HUC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, member driven, public charity organization focused on developing Ultimate in Houston and exposing the game to the youth of Houston as a healthy, safe, and inexpensive endeavor. Sean continues to serve as a strategic advisor to HUC and devotes countless hours to coaching players ranging from youth to college in Houston, Austin and College Station. Mr. McCall serves as a Pariveda Houston liaison to Habitat For Humanity and The Houston Food Bank and helps to orchestrate several of our annual events. Mr. McCall received a B.S. in Quantitative Business Analysis with an emphasis on Operations Management from Louisiana State University in 1994.
