Overview
As a Vice President in the Dallas office of Pariveda Solutions since 2008, Susan Paul brings over 20 years of experience in technology services through both sales and delivery roles at field and corporate levels. She has led consulting engagements developing IT strategies and processes for Fortune 500 companies to non-profit organizations and has built and managed sales teams, corporate partnerships and branch offices for both start-ups and global systems integrators. With such a diverse background, Susan provides clients operational as well as technology insights.
Experience
Combining her IT consulting experience with her Sales Management background, Susan has authored a Relationship Management methodology for companies frustrated with their inability to realize promised gains from their technology investments. Using an approach built on proven sales processes, Susan has developed a program to mature the business/IT partnership. It’s not enough for just the CIO to work well with other C-levels. Technology decisions get made every day, at all levels in an organization. The Relationship Management program facilitates organizations get more out of their IT investments.
Susan and a partner merged their company, Sales Integrity, a sales management consultancy, with Pariveda Solutions at the start of 2008. Prior to that, Susan was with Avanade, a Microsoft/Accenture joint venture where she served as National Sales Director for the Americas, helping to drive revenue growth from $160M to $700M over a four year period. Working with regional business development directors, she set territories and targets for a 100 person sales team, designed and rolled out new compensation plans, and standardized sales operations. During her tenure as Senior Business Development Director for the South Region encompassing 13 southeastern states, she built and managed a sales team that grew a startup territory to $40 million in sales over a two year period. At Immedient, a regional IT consultancy, she was an integral part of growing the company from $2M to $75M in roles ranging from General Manager of the Dallas and Austin offices, Channel Director and Application Development Practice Director over a six year period. Susan has experience cultivating channel relationships to generate multi-million dollar revenue streams. Her efforts won her multiple vendor awards as well as successive President’s Club awards. She began her career in Management Consulting at Andersen Consulting.
Out of the Office
In her free time, Susan is a life-long foodie devoted to finding new and interesting things to eat and cook. Traveling to 29 countries has provided plenty of opportunity to sample unusual culinary treats. Susan enjoys spending time with her husband Jim and her two teenage sons, Andrew and Michael, who are both involved in music and other school activities.
Education and Service
Susan is actively involved in the business community through the DFW IT Roundtable, International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners and Success North Dallas. Mrs. Paul earned a BS from the University of Michigan with dual majors in Economics and Biochemistry. She went on to earn an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
