Overview
Steve brings over 20 years of experience to Pariveda with a background as an electronic design engineer at Lockheed Martin, previous consulting experience at Accenture primarily implementing SAP and i2, and retail industry experience at RadioShack where he held multiple leadership roles in supply chain management and merchandising operations. Steve has extensive experience in business operations management (primarily supply chain planning, retail merchandising, product design engineering and corporate financial planning) as well as a solid background in information technology program management. This combination of business and technology experience helps him to ensure that technology change roadmaps are aligned with prioritized business process initiatives, and that technology program deployments meet the business objectives they were set out to achieve.
Experience
Mr. Steve Plamondon has over 20 years of experience in technology and business operations with a focus on leading technology enabled business process change initiatives in the electronics, high tech, and retail industries. Mr. Plamondon’s primary area of expertise is analyzing the effectiveness of current state enterprise-wide business processes, helping clients to establish a strategic roadmap for process improvements, and utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and custom developed applications to support identified technology enabled business process change initiatives. He has extensive background in cross-departmental supply chain, retail merchandising and corporate financial planning business process change.
Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Mr. Plamondon held various leadership positions at RadioShack Corporation in supply chain and merchandising. He also provided enterprise-wide consulting solutions for global clients through leadership positions at Accenture (i.e. SAP and i2) and led a multi-disciplined team of engineers in developing a Fire Solution Computer for a major defense weapon system at Lockheed Martin (i.e. Patriot Advanced Capability Missile System).
Out of the Office
An avid endurance athlete, Steve enjoys swimming, biking and running for both fitness and competition. He competed professionally as a triathlete from 1989-91. He has also completed two Ironman distance triathlons. These days, he sticks to shorter distance events. Steve and his wife Lori grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and they have a daughter and a son. They love the mountains and visit them frequently, especially during ski season.
Education and Service
Steve is the President of the Board of the Fort Worth Area Swim Team (FAST), a non-profit swim club where his daughter competes. FAST offers competitive swim programs for all levels from beginners to Olympians. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Lay Leadership Committee at First United Methodist Church of Arlington. He shares his enthusiasm for fitness with others by encouraging participation in organized fitness events (i.e. Masters swimming, organized runs, distance cycling and triathlons) and creates training programs for those who are just starting out or who want a little guidance or coaching to achieve a goal. Steve received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Honors Program) from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1987.
