Overview
Stephen has over 10 years of management and technology consulting experience delivering enterprise-level custom software solutions across a variety of industries using Microsoft, Java, and mobile technologies. His consulting background at several software companies has built him a strong product development foundation that enables him to architect solutions that address the immediate needs while providing a framework that can be extended to meet future business needs. Additionally, Mr. Pillow is experienced in all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle as well as possesses knowledge and experience in project management, team leadership, and client interaction.
Experience
Mr. Stephen Pillow has management and technology consulting experience spanning several industries such as e-commerce, financial, software, transportation, legal, telecommunications, energy, and health care. He has hands-on experience managing, architecting, and implementing business-driven technology solutions on .NET, Java, and mobile platforms. With his broad experience, Mr. Pillow is able to lead teams from both a project management and architecture perspective. Stephen has experience implementing Pariveda’s Agile methodology on large projects, and he also has assisted clients with organizing teams to improve the quality and increase output.
Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Mr. Pillow was a Manager at Hitachi Consulting and also held consulting positions with Tactica Technology Group. At these companies, Stephen participated in the architecture and development of application frameworks on both .NET and Java platforms that served as a blueprint for custom software consulting engagements.
Out of the Office
Stephen and his wife, Alison, welcomed their first child into the world, Leighton in March 2009. Stephen enjoys being outside whether it is running or taking Leighton and the dogs for a walk. He is avid watcher of the Discovery Channel and his favorite series is Planet Earth.
Education and Service
Mr. Pillow received a B.B.A. in Management Information System from the University of Texas at Austin. Stephen participates in many of the community service events that Pariveda sponsors including the Texas Tree Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, and the Heart Walk
