Overview
Samir has over eight years of management and consulting experience in the delivery of business intelligence and enterprise software solutions on both the Java and .NET platforms. Mr. Ray serves the firm through his engagement in architecting and delivering enterprise solutions for our clients. He seeks to promote knowledge and community around information technology topics such as business intelligence and Agile project management through speaking engagements, publishing of articles, and involvement in user groups.
Experience
Mr. Samir Ray has management and technology consulting experience in the construction, retail and distribution, manufacturing, supply chain logistics, and financial services industries. His primary areas of expertise lie in business intelligence, enterprise software solutions on both the Java and .NET platforms, systems integration, enterprise portal implementations, software selection, business process analysis, and information systems planning. Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Mr. Ray consulted with Precision Business Solutions, Hitachi Consulting, and Tactica Technology Group.
Out of the Office
Samir is an avid movie buff, reader, and explorer of the Dallas restaurant scene. On weekends he can be found playing basketball and enjoying Longhorn college football games.
Education and Service
Samir is an active member of the Dallas-area Microsoft Business Intelligence Community group and involved with the annual We Are Microsoft Charity Challenge. He has recently spoken at conferences and published articles on Agile project management. Mr. Ray received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and Business Honors from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas.
