Overview
Mr. Mike Galvin has over 10 years experience in delivering data-driven solutions for clients that span multiple industries and technology platforms. His primary focus areas are data integration, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and CRM. He has a proven track record of helping clients make better fact-based decisions by taking advantage of the information that exists throughout their organizations.
Experience
Mike has lead teams focused on delivering Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions using many of today’s industry leading platforms such as Microsoft, SAP Business Objects, Oracle and QlikView. His experience crosses multiple industries including retail, internet services, manufacturing, financial services and not-for-profit. Mr. Galvin prides himself on playing both technical and project management roles for his clients relying on his ability to bridge the gap between the Business and IT components of any solution.
Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions Mr. Galvin held a leadership position within the Business Intelligence practice for The Revere Group where he was responsible for providing thought leadership and developing a Business Intelligence boot camp for recent college graduates. Mike has also held Lead Architect and Senior Developer positions at Hitachi Consulting and DoubleClick, Inc.
Out of the Office
Mike is a self proclaimed “sports fanatic”. He enjoys watching and playing all sports and is often found on a field or court in his spare time. Mike and his wife, Danielle are the proud parents of two children, Jeremy and Alana and enjoy taking family trips around the country.
Education and Service
Mr. Galvin received a B.S. in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. He is a member of The Data Warehouse Institute’s Chicago Chapter and was part of the team that received the 2005 National Center for Database Management (NCDM) Database Excellence Award. Mike is also an active member of his community where he volunteers as a coach for the Whiteford Youth Baseball league.
