    Alex Pearce

    University of Texas

    Summer 2014 Intern

"The balance between developer and user was the most valuable lesson I learned. Sometimes, a user doesn't know what they want and needs the developer to make a decision for them. On the other hand, a user will not find value in a feature that is difficult to access, use, or understand. Maintaining a balance between these two forces is essential in creating a successful product."

    Kyle Clark

    University of Iowa

    Summer 2014 Intern

"I think the most important thing I learned at the Children's Museum was how to effectively work with a big team, and how to keep morale high even under pressure. We took the fun, light-hearted atmosphere at CMH and built it into the way our team interacts. I'm really thankful that I learned this strategy here, and I hope to use it bring a fun and exciting energy to my future teams as well."

    Maribeth Rauh

    Notre Dame

    Summer 2013 Intern

"I was very excited when I learned that our project would be for a non-profit, and getting to know the people who are a part of Buffalo Bayou Partnership and all of the work they are doing has been a rewarding experience. Because of our app’s focus on all the features of Buffalo Bayou and its surroundings, I became very familiar with the area and was amazed by the wealth of activities, natural areas, and artistic or historic sites. I hope the word gets out to more Houstonians so that they can also enjoy this unique area."

    Nathan Clemente

"Pariveda is very welcoming. They want you as an employee to learn, succeed, and grow as a person. They give you the opportunity to work with new technologies and design applications that will benefit clients and make companies more successful… Being able to achieve great work with great people such as my fellow interns, managers, and those who we got to know along the way helped me figure out my career path."

"At Pariveda, I found myself working with technologists dedicated to developing innovative solutions. I was constantly exploring new technologies and discussing findings with my co-workers. I learned new things every day. For me, working in this kind of environment is most rewarding and enjoyable." Read more about Taylor's experience here.
