The Dallas office Community Service Team chose two BIG initiatives to focus Dallas Fins’ efforts on this holiday season. For the 3rd year in a row the Dallas team collected donations for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Gift Card & Board Game Drive as well as sponsored more than 40 Holiday Boxes for the homeless that were collected and distributed by The Stewpot.
Dallas Fins were invited to donate a $20 gift card and a child’s board game for BBBS or they could support The Stewpot by filling a shoe box with inexpensive necessity items that might make living on the streets a little easier. Pariveda Benefits Manager, Deann Badura reached into her network to contact a friend that worked at a national board game distributor enabling us to increase the number of board games donated. Through generous payroll deductions and donations more than 130 board games were collected, 15 gift cards and over 40 shoeboxes. Each of these gifts brought a smile to someone in need this holiday season.
