Mr. John Humphrey has over twenty years of experience in business operations and technology working around sales strategy, marketing and application software. Mr. Humphrey's primary area of expertise is enterprise applications, sales effectiveness and software procurement methods. He has authored several courses and work shops helping services and software companies with their methodologies to improve their sales effectiveness. Mr. Humphrey has also taken these skills and applied them to large IT Enterprises to assist them in selling value inside of their own organization. He has extensive background in both selling and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with companies like Lawson and Oracle; and his experience with Ariba gave him deep experience in the procurement arena. While at Tactica Technology Group, he built an Oracle implementation practice that was profitable within the first year of operation.
Mr. Humphrey has created a software selection methodology that goes beyond traditional methods and assists our clients in the negotiation and details of both pricing and contracts. With his extensive background in both implementing and selling enterprise-wide solutions, Mr. Humphrey applies these skills to the selection of enterprise applications and improves the value derived by the customer.
He continues to support several distribution companies with their technology planning and IT support. He has contributed to the success of his clients by solving complex problems and delivering leading business and technical solutions. Mr. Humphrey's clients include middle market and Fortune 500 companies, particularly distributors, service companies and financial services companies.
Mr. Humphrey received a B.A. in Economics and a B.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University in 1984. Mr. Humphrey also received an M.B.A. from The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in 1990.
